Color series

Shot at lalbagh bangalore.
 Flowers arealso good subjects to capture colors other than birds which i usually like.  Not always you get the correct color balance while shooting flowers. This shot has come well here, this series is an attempt to capture such nice colors ....

Bulbul

Another shot of bulbul. This one sat in front of us in the resort in Yearcud. Just took 2 shots and this one is the better one. Slightly processed to give some brightness. 
I have better shots of bulbul earlier but this one is good and different compared to my old ones, as the tree don't have any leaves. 

Scanning the valley

It was morning ~6:45AM  - the monkey was already up in the tree to scan the area, its a really nice view of the valley below. 
I was in the place where i could not see more below. 
The shot is unedited as usual - just added watermark and reduced the size.  

Flowers - Experiments with Focus!!!

Flowers are best studied for its color combination, i have used it for myself!!!

Though this post do not have much contrasts. 

This time it was mainly an experiment to see how well my zoom lens give the depth for flowers...It may not be the best, but its really good. 

The below ones are outcomes of these. These photos are not modified, just i reduced the size with watermark:)

Yellow Hooded Oriole

Spotted in the tree just in front of the resort room in yercaud. Was not very close and lighting was bit low, so had to do bit of processing. Not the best of shots, but the bird is really nice colors.

Two more which i felt just decent.

Spotted Owl at Glenrock estates, Yercaud

Its been long time since last post and its been long time since i have shot something. ""BUSY :) ""

This one was simple, spotted this owl while walking from the resort dining towards the room and was quite close. Posed quite well for a series of 10 shots. 
The best aspect of a bird photos is its eyes, if its wide and clean, then usually we have  a good shot!!! Well, the colors of the body seems much better with the eyes :)

Though this one has the best eyes, the below shot is the one i liked better...
