Kingfisher

This shot was taken from some layout near kanakpura road. I am not sure about the name of that place, but i really liked that place though.

Pied Bushchat

Spotted both the chats; male and female; just outside camp leopard rock, near nagarhole. This place was full of all these kind of small birds like chats, bee eaters, flowerpecker and lots of sparrows. Even though there where lots i was really trying hard to shoot a good portrait of them. They are so used to nature and not humans around. As soon as someone go somewhere around a good clicking range, they fly off not giving us a chance.

Then I choose a good spot waiting for birds will come close to my clicking range; That also did not work out the best :) Finally i managed few decent ones like the chats above.

Purple rumped sunbird

This is the one and only shot that i have taken of a male purple rumped sunbird. This one took near the valley school, bangalore. It was really on the move and time was there only for this one shot :)Later on i could not spot it as it went inside the bushes somewherer :)
