Nandi Hills

Misty Morning at nandi hills , this is the first time i am going to nandi hills during morning tme, have been planning to go for such a long time. It was pretty cold and very very misty.

Korean findings

I have not seen much colourful bird here in korea yet. The only once commonly seen are these chat sort of bird and sparrows.
May be if i go to villages here, it might be common, might go one day may be in next trip :)

Insect Garden

Shot this one at the insect garden in Seoul Forest. The garden is really beautiful with lots of flowers.

Shot this pigeon from my home. Such a beautiful creation, the eyes tell us everything.

Kingfisher

This shot was taken from some layout near kanakpura road. I am not sure about the name of that place, but i really liked that place though.

Pied Bushchat

Spotted both the chats; male and female; just outside camp leopard rock, near nagarhole. This place was full of all these kind of small birds like chats, bee eaters, flowerpecker and lots of sparrows. Even though there where lots i was really trying hard to shoot a good portrait of them. They are so used to nature and not humans around. As soon as someone go somewhere around a good clicking range, they fly off not giving us a chance.

Then I choose a good spot waiting for birds will come close to my clicking range; That also did not work out the best :) Finally i managed few decent ones like the chats above.

Purple rumped sunbird

This is the one and only shot that i have taken of a male purple rumped sunbird. This one took near the valley school, bangalore. It was really on the move and time was there only for this one shot :)Later on i could not spot it as it went inside the bushes somewherer :)

Peacock

Peacock is a bird that i like a lot. Especially when i see it free not inside a cage. This one i saw during the Safari in nagarhole National Park. Its a totally different feeling altogether to see this beautiful bird walk free :)

Green BeeEater

This was my first shot during the outing and this is my best shot of this Beautiful Bird. There are lots of Birds around camp leopard rock near nagarhole. All of them are so sensitive that it will not even allow to let us close to it. Probably because they are really used to natural conditions and not people around :)

In this particular shot, the bird really blends well with the natural colour :)

Red Vented Bulbul

Shot this one in chennai. The bird is on the process of building its nest.

Squirrels are lots in bangalore. This shot i liked because of the pose of the squirrel. I felt its really nice.

The blabber eagerly looking at its food for . Seems its really interested and not worried considering how much close i was with the bird.

White-cheeked Barbet

Shot this one at lalbagh Bangalore. Somehow birds seems to like this fruit a lot. I have seen quite a few birds with the fruit of the same tree. Koel is the most often found. But i really don't know why, i tasted it once just one small piece and daammmm its really bitter.

Spotted owlet

Spotted this beautiful owlet at lalbagh bangalore today morning. This guy was posing for the photograph so much that i have taken aroun 100 shot. This above 3 shot are in sequence of him moving when taken in continuously. Infact i spotted 3 owls this time, one being this guy and later after 15 mins or so found another pair in a totally different place. Will post more of these after selecting which one to post. Thats been the most tough part since all have come out beautifully.

This male koel was sitting along with the female one. By the time i took the camera to shoot this, the female was gone. Just missed a good shot of male and female one together.

Shot this from chennai last weekend. The light was low and hence quality not the best. My IS lens rellay helped this time....

Shot at Lalbagh when i went to test out my new lens. This hole in the tree seems to be the favorite place for parrots. Last time i saw 3 parrots in the same location. This time only one, but a really cute small one. I think this one seems to be really afraid of coming out of the hole...i did not see more it coming out too...
