Ashtamudi Lake

This shot is taken from the "Thevalley Bridge", Kollam, Kerala. The bridge is a common spot for people to relax for few minutes due to the cool breeze during evening. This is the first time i am going to this bridge during Sunrise even thought i have stayed for many years very very close to this place. The golden coloured reflection on the water is really beautiful.

Alexenderine Parakaeet

This beautiful parakeet was really playing around the branches. It seems to be really hungry and seems to be having a good morning breakfast :)
Its really wonderful to see the parakeet balancing in one leg to have its food.

Gray Langur

Took this snap during the safari at Bandipur. The mother looks to be really caring for the baby.
The sense of peace can be really felt from the child when its in the mother's custody..... is it not!!!

Rose Ringed Parakeet

Took this shot during the Safari at Bandipur. The Parakeet is sitting in the tree branch of the "Flame of the Forest".

One more peacock. This is shot at the Banargatta National Park, Bangalore in Nov 2007.

Peacock

Seeing a peacock in the forest was one of my wish before i went to bandipur. I have not seen a peacock so free and one that is not caged before. This one we saw pretty deep inside the forest in bandipur during the evening safari. This was the best shot i could get even though this shot is not the best photographically :)

Red Vented Bulbul

Saw this one inside the Jungle Lodges in Bandipur. There were few birds on the big tree in front of the jungle lodges.All of them were posing well for the photo session :)
Along with this one there were few myna's too.....
