Home sweet home.....this is what i can say. Saw this at Lalbagh, Bangalore. This was a pretty tall tree branch and my 135mm Lens did not have that much reach. Hence you can notice the clarity not to the mark, still one of the picture i liked the most. More than that the picture i was watching the birds for quite a long time there.

Found this bird from suwon fort. Not sure which bird is this. I liked the colours though. This one was the best I could get from my 128mm lens, that too after a very tight crop.

Sparrow

Took this shot from the park near my room in Suwon, korea. Shot is not photographically perfect, would loved to have the sparrow more in focus. I liked the way it was standing on the tree. It was completely horizontal as i would say.

Magpie

Shot taken in Suwon fort, korea. Magpie is the national bird of Korea. Magpie is from the crow family. Just like we seen crow in india, these bird can be seen around in suwon.

This is one of the first few shots taken with my new canon 40D. This shot is taken just sitting inside the shop in yongtong korea. I was testing the camera when i took this shot.

Dandeli

The shot taken during the morning trek after the jungle safari at dandeli, Karnataka. Even though we could not see any animals during the safari, this trek was really refreshing. The weather was good to start with even though it became bit hot towards the end.

I have one more combination with yellow shade. See how different this one is from the previous post. Its really unique and really wonderful.

Colour Combinations

Flower are really beautiful and pleasing for human eyes. One main reason for that is the colour combination and the shading each flower gets. Its really a great creation by giving such wonderful shades. Also these shades will be very very unique which makes each flower great.
Even the best of the artist might find it difficult to paint some of these unique combinations.
The above shot was taken in kemmengundi, Karnataka. I loved the yellow shade on the red base. Also the small dots can be seen only on the yellow and not on the red which make it more attractive.

Hebbe falls

View from the sopt we started the small trek to reach the Hebbe falls, Kemmengundi. I loved this lovely landscape view.

Red Wiskered Bulbul

There were lot of bulbul's seen in Kemmengundi. This was the one which posed to my photo session for a long time.

White Eyes

Saw this beautiful bird in kemmengundi. The bird looks really like a doll as if its some drawing. Just saw this bird for a few minutes to take just 5 snaps in different poses.

There are lots of mynas' inside lalbhag, Bangalore. This one just came out from a good dip in the water.

Balancing Act

The shot is taken in Wayanad last year. The beautiful aspect of this picture which I liked is that the water droplets balancing in the leaves. Its really a great art of balancing and dancing on the leaves for a very long time before it falls on to the ground.
This is a common site seen on small plants immediately after rains.
Its really amazing how the water droplets sticks on to the leaves without falling.

Ashtamudi Lake

This shot is taken from the "Thevalley Bridge", Kollam, Kerala. The bridge is a common spot for people to relax for few minutes due to the cool breeze during evening. This is the first time i am going to this bridge during Sunrise even thought i have stayed for many years very very close to this place. The golden coloured reflection on the water is really beautiful.

Alexenderine Parakaeet

This beautiful parakeet was really playing around the branches. It seems to be really hungry and seems to be having a good morning breakfast :)
Its really wonderful to see the parakeet balancing in one leg to have its food.

Gray Langur

Took this snap during the safari at Bandipur. The mother looks to be really caring for the baby.
The sense of peace can be really felt from the child when its in the mother's custody..... is it not!!!

Rose Ringed Parakeet

Took this shot during the Safari at Bandipur. The Parakeet is sitting in the tree branch of the "Flame of the Forest".

One more peacock. This is shot at the Banargatta National Park, Bangalore in Nov 2007.

Peacock

Seeing a peacock in the forest was one of my wish before i went to bandipur. I have not seen a peacock so free and one that is not caged before. This one we saw pretty deep inside the forest in bandipur during the evening safari. This was the best shot i could get even though this shot is not the best photographically :)

Red Vented Bulbul

Saw this one inside the Jungle Lodges in Bandipur. There were few birds on the big tree in front of the jungle lodges.All of them were posing well for the photo session :)
Along with this one there were few myna's too.....
